I've always wanted to see this!!! Stonehenge is known around the world as one of the oldest surviving sites. This prehistoric site was originally a burial ground and has been beautifully preserved. It truly is a wonder!
We were very fortunate that Max and Abigail saw our journey, got in touch with us, and invited us to a private spoon making class! They not only make wooden spoons, plates, and bowls, but also quilts and pillows all dyed with their home made natural dyes made from wood and other natural materials! We had an amazing time, and they are amazing people!!
This is one of those exciting days! As you might know, we have some old photos from Mom's trip here 55 years ago that we plan to remake! And one of those is at Windsor Castle!!!! And as luck would have it, we were there when there was an exhibition of Queen Elizabeth's dresses!
Once again, we are out and about in London, trying to see some of the recommendations that we have received!! Thank you to everyone who recommend things to see or to do!!! We were able to do the London Eye, take a small Thames boat trip, The Tower of London, the London Tower Bridge, and then tour the oldest church in London!!!
