There's nothing that Mom and Gregg love more than a good Christmas market, and luckily, Europe is full of them! We'll get her a hot cider and grab some mulled wine for us, and walk through looking at all of the decorations - singing along with all of the carols. It's truly our favorite time of the year.

We have seen so much on this trip, and to be honest, Budapest is one of our favorite cities so far. The history and architecture are stunning, and the baths alone seem worth a trip here.
This was kind of a catch up day - Hero's Square, The Hungarian State Opera House, St Stephen's Basilica, and a place called Gelato Rosa, and we can honestly say, "We recommend ALL of them!!!"

We had many suggestions to try the baths in Budapest - they are something for which the city is widely known. They've been known for 100's of years to have healing properties, so with that information I knew I could get mom into her swimsuit to see if it helped her arthritis - and she LOVED it! We decided on the beautiful Gellért Baths, and after changing into our swimsuits in our rented cabins, we had one of the best times...

Thank you András for being our "local" tour guide, and for everyone else suggesting so many things to do! We only had a few days here so didn't get to everything, but we made a valiant effort! This was a stunning view day - from the Fisherman's Bastion is a terrace on the Buda side overlooking the entire city. This place is breathtaking.

We just landed in Budapest! This capital city of Hungary is the home of some of the most beautiful buildings and monuments in the world, and so we had to make it here for an adventure!
